Nicole Bryan Promoted to Chief Product Officer for Tasktop
Vancouver, BC, May 26, 2020—Tasktop, the leader in value stream management, today announced that Nicole Bryan has been promoted to chief product officer for the company, effective immediately.
In her new role, Bryan will oversee all aspects of product development – including engineering, product strategy, product operations, product marketing and product management. Bringing together all aspects of product development will ensure Tasktop is strategically positioned to continue leading organizations as they embrace the project to product movement and as the value stream management market matures. Bryan will continue to report to Tasktop Founder and CEO Dr. Mik Kersten.
In her prior role as vice president of product development, Bryan directed the strategy and evolution of Tasktop’s product and engineering organizations into a single product development organization. Under her leadership, Tasktop’s portfolio of products have been closely aligned to customers’ needs.
“It makes me incredibly happy to see that the level of delivery and innovation in our product development organization has never been higher,” said Kersten. “Not only did Nicole inspire some of the key product management thinking in the Project to Product book, she has led an exemplary implementation of those practices, continues to scale them and to share her learnings with the community.”
Since she joined Tasktop eight years ago, Bryan continually paved the path for the company’s vision to help large scale enterprises master software delivery at scale -- validating the strategy incrementally through leading the evolution from Tasktop Sync, to Tasktop Hub, to the cloud and, now, Tasktop Viz.
“Her contributions and dedication to delivering on the aspirations that Dr. Kersten set forth in his Amazon bestselling Project to Product will transform how business is done for the next century,” said Neelan Choksi, president and COO, Tasktop, “I’m thrilled for Tasktop – we will rely on Nicole’s leadership, industry know how and passion even more as we help our customers thrive in the Age of Software.”
Bryan’s tireless passion for Tasktop, exemplified both by her internal and external thought leadership exemplifies her relentless desire to help organizations.
"I am looking forward to working with teams across the organization to continue to make improvements that benefit our customers, employees and the industry as a whole," Bryan said. "In addition, in my new role I hope to dedicate more of my time and passion to a cause that is near and dear to my heart – that of attracting and retaining more women in technology."
Bryan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Washington University, St. Louis, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University. She is based at Tasktop’s U.S. headquarters in Austin.
