When: October 19, 2016
Where: Zenith - Die Kulturhalle, Lilienthalallee 29, 80939 München, Germany (by invitation)
Session Description: BMW Group and Tasktop have teamed up to dramatically change how the software supply chain is managed, by creating an end-to-end connected lifecycle from requirement to road. In this talk, Te-Strote and Kersten will highlight how BMW’s Software Lifecycle Architecture and ALM implementation have combined with the Tasktop integration infrastructure to achieve this. An exciting connected lifecycle effort, where software-based simulation is integrated into the software delivery loop, will also be featured. They will conclude the talk with a vision for an Agile tool chain that can dramatically accelerate the iteration and feedback cycle of innovation in automotive delivery.
DevOps East
Removing the Silos: When Agile, Lean, and DevOps Aren’t Enough
Who: Betty Zakheim, VP Industry Strategy, Tasktop
When: November 17, 2016
Where: Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, 1751 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, Lake Buena Vista, FL
Session Description: Many organizations are adopting some combination of agile, lean, and DevOps practices, then finding that they are not working the way they hoped they would. Zakheim discusses the barriers to the teamwork required to ensure that these practices and methodologies show positive results. To understand where the barriers exist, she uses a combination of value stream mapping and examination of the tools and techniques the functional disciplines involved in software delivery employ. Using these techniques, she will locate the inefficiencies in the handoffs among disciplines and introduce cross-lifecycle metrics that provide a better understanding of SDLC practices.
Vivit UK at HPE Discover 2016 London
Maximize the Value of HPE Octane without Spending a £0.01
Who: Dr. Tuuli Bell, Partner Account Manager and Mitun Zavery, Senior Sales Engineer, EMEA, Tasktop
When: December 1, 2016
Where: Vivit Booth HPE Discover 2016 London
Session Description: Octane, HPE’s next gen ALM product, is designed for high-velocity teams. At Discover in Vegas, Octane created a major buzz. HPE ALM users wanted it, but companies are entrenched in ALM. Years of tests, reports and complex workflow make it impossible to do more than play with a free trial. In this session, we discuss how integration enables Octane usage while still interacting with teams, reports and workflow in HPE ALM.
