Tasktop’s Carmen DeArdo Co-Authors Standing on Shoulders: A Leader’s Guide to Digital Transformation

Available on Amazon, Focuses on How to Transform Organizations to Compete and Thrive in Today's Digital Age

VANCOUVER, BC, Feb. 5, 2019 Tasktop, the leader in Value Stream Integration, today announced that Carmen DeArdo, who heads up the company’s Value Stream Management (VSM) Consulting Practice, has co-authored Standing on Shoulders: A Leader’s Guide to Digital Transformation with digital leader Jack Maher.

In this leader's guide to digital transformation, which is available on Amazon, readers get practical, actionable information on building an employee and customer-obsessed culture that drives speed and efficiency while leveraging technology to sell better products and services.

DeArdo currently works with customers on utilizing the Flow Model concepts described in Tasktop CEO Mik Kersten’s recent book Project to Product: How to Survive and Thrive in the Age of Digital Disruption with the Flow Frameworkto help them better understand how to accelerate flow to better serve their customers.

Previously, as DevOps leader, technology director at Nationwide Insurance, DeArdo was responsible for driving continuous delivery utilizing DevOps, Lean and Agile practices. He was recognized by DevOps.com as a winner for 2016 Successful DevOps Transformation and was also named as one of the 25 must follow enterprise DevOps leaders by TechBeacon.

"I have worked with some of the best thought leaders over my career at Bell Labs, Nationwide Insurance and Tasktop,” said DeArdo. “During that time, I was fortunate to witness and also help lead transformational journeys that enabled large enterprises to improve the way that business value is delivered through the application of technology and continuous improvement techniques. In this book, I share what I have learned to help readers in their own journeys, which are filled with ebbs and flows requiring patience and persistence. But in the end, the ability to transform skepticism about what seems improbable into the hope of what is possible makes it all worthwhile."
